German quality
– that creates drinking pleasure
Join us for a memorable evening in the spirit of wine, as we invite you to an event featuring unparalleled German drinking pleasure.
Frank Schönleber is guesting at Treetop.
Since the mid-18th century, the Emrich family has been involved in wine production in the western part of the Nahe region around the hometown of Monzingen.
Nahe is located south of the Mosel and north of the Pfalz.
It is one of the smallest, yet most diverse wine regions in Germany, where the vineyards are often situated along the banks of the Nahe and its tributaries.
The climate is mild with limited frost. The soil on the steep slopes is so varied that the diversity in the wines’ styles can be great, despite only a few grape varieties being cultivated.
The winery is led by Frank Schönleber and his wife Anja under the philosophy that “the wine develops freely as it will,” “it should create drinking pleasure,” “be authentic,” and “reflect its origin.” In 2015, Robert Parker awarded Emrich-Schönleber the title “Best Dry German White Wine of the Year,” and the following year, the Suckling Trophy was awarded for “Best Spätlese of 2016.”
